Events will be held in Manchester, Dublin, Newcastle and Leeds this October.
The Psoriasis Shout Out initiative, led by Professor Chris Griffiths from The University of Manchester, aims to raise awareness of this often overlooked condition and to bring together people living with psoriasis with those who work in the field of psoriasis management and research.
Following successful events in 2014 and 2016, the Psoriasis Shout Out returns between 8th - 14th October this year. The Shout Out's Healthcare Roadshow will travel to locations in Salford, Manchester, Bury and Dublin, while their will be additional events held in Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester. The roadshow has a fully-equipped healthcare trailer where members of the public can engage with healthcare professionals and other people living with psoriasis. Visitors will be able to find out more about the condition, different treatment options and cutting edge research ongoing in their area. Mindfulness taster sessions will also be offered at times TBC. The roadshow will visit the following locations between 9am - 5pm on the dates given below:
- Tuesday 9th October - Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust
- Wednesday 10th October - St Ann's Square, Manchester
- Thursday 11th October - St Ann's Square, Manchester
