Allergic reactions to Psoriasis medication

Hi all fellow sufferers. Has anyone had an allergic reaction to a prescribed medication. On the 22nd October I started using Calcipotriol 50mg/ml Scalp Solution as prescribed by my Doctor. On this day my right hand started to swell, by the 26th my middle finger on my right hand became very swollen and since then I have been unable to bend this finger. My Little finger and the one next to it have also become swollen, not as bad as my middle finger but still very uncomfortable and sometimes is very painful, limiting my use of my right hand. Some days it is very painful and other days I have no pain at all unless I catch it on something. One of the side effects described in the leaflet in the possible side effects is swelling of the hands. I have seen a dermatologist this week and she does not think that it is an allergic reaction. For 5 weeks I have not been able to use my right hand properly. Has anyone else experienced this same situation?
