Psoriasis Awareness Week 2023 ran from Sunday 29th October to Saturday 4th November.

Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are complex conditions, and there are many aspects which are misunderstood, under-treated and under-appreciated. There is also lots of 'information' out there which is inaccurate, incorrect, or doesn't give the full picture.

We use our information resources, annual Psoriasis Awareness Week, and collaborative awareness initiatives to take psoriasis fact to a wider audience. Click the different headings on the menu to find out more about some of our recent campaigns.

We also engage regularly with other Dermatology and psoriasis stakeholders - as well as key healthcare professional bodies - to work towards raising the profile of Dermatology, and to ensure the voices of people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are heard.

How can you help?

There are loads of ways to get involved in raising awareness of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Why not take a look at our current volunteer/awareness opportunities for starters?

You could get involved by taking on a task or challenge to fundraise for the Psoriasis Association, allowing us to carry on our work to support, inform and advise those affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, raise awareness of both conditions, and fund research.

You could also get involved by sharing your experiences, giving advice and tips and lending support to others on our forums.

Perhaps you would be willing to deliver some of our information and promotional materials to your local GP surgery or university health centre? Or maybe you're willing to share your psoriasis experiences with the media? If you think you might be able to help in these ways, please get in touch.
