Finance and Operations Manager
- Manage all financial operations: day-to-day finance, reconciliations, management accounts, budgeting and cashflow.
- Prepare and coordinate year-end statutory accounts in line with Charity SORP and coordinate external audits.
- Oversee office administration, IT, facilities, HR records, supplier relationships and general systems.
- Maintain and manage our membership database, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
- Support governance: prepare reports and Board / Committee papers, liaise with Trustees, investment managers and external partners.
- Contribute to organisational planning and systems improvement, helping to shape how the charity delivers on its strategic priorities of research, care and support.
- Full or part-qualified accountancy credentials (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience in charity or not-for-profit finance – including management accounts, budgeting, restricted funds and SORP compliance.
- Skilled in operational and administrative oversight, with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills – able to present financial and operational information clearly to non-specialists.

Salary: SCP 35-38 - £46,142 - £49,282 pro rata (30 hours per week)
Location: Northampton / hybrid (minimum 3 days in office including a protected Thursday)

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join our small, dedicated team.
