How often should you wash your hair?

Hey, I am new here but have suffered with psoriasis for years, I have recently had a severe flare up on my scalp and ears :( doctors have given me Enstilar for my hair and cream for my ears (minus the chip fat hair it seems to Be helping). But I have never really know how Doreen I should was my hair :( none has ever said so I was it’s every other day! But now I am thinking should I try maybe twice a week? Could anyone help at all?
