My partner has it

Hello, I'm Jayne and completely in the dark about all this, my only experience of skin problems is my daughter's eczema and my own dry skin/eczema! So, my new boyfriend (love of my life as it goes!) has psoriasis, which when we met was fine, but the situation we're in (very complicated) has meant an almighty flare up and the doctor is threatening hospitalisation if it doesn't clear up over Christmas! How can I help him? Apart from ending things so that he's not under stress, which neither of us wants, is there anything I can do apart from being there for him? I bought him a cotton/cashmere jumper for Christmas because I know that's better than synthetic material for his skin. I love him and hate seeing him suffer!

Very bad

Harm of psoriasis (neurodermatitis) Psoriasis does not endanger one’s life, but it does great harm to men’s physical and mental health. Many patients can not have normal life and rest due to the intolerable itch and pain of the skin caused by psoriasis. Many juvenile patients feel shamble to show their skin. It directly affects the beautiful appearance and what’s bitterer, it leads to breakup of the beloved. Psoriasis recurs year after year, and it prolongs through years and aggravates at recurrence. The scraps, bruises and intolerable itch from the disease bring severe pain to both the body and the mind.
