Red Blotchy Skin

I don't have the traditional thick scaly skin associated with Psoriasis but all my arms, legs, stomach, buttocks, between my legs and part of my back is covered in what looks like a red blotchy rash. There isn't much scalyness it just looks like the skin is peeling from sunburn. I also get very bright red semi-circle/circular sores which appear for a couple of days then disappear and re-appear else where. Sometimes I itch all over and at other times only parts of the body itch. When I was put on Methatrexate my dermatologist said I had severe Psoriasis but I saw another dermatologist this week who said it only counted as moderate Psoriasis!
