I am the mother of a psoriasis sufferer, she is 35 now but had her first severe flare up at age 8. This has caused huge distress for many years however her skin has thankfully settled down a lot with just the occasional flare up now, usually connected to a throat infection. As a student reflexologist I am very interested to hear of anyone who has tried reflexology and what was their experience. I am also looking for case studies in my local (West Oxfordshire) area, free of charge (!) so please reply if you are local and interested in giving reflexology a try.

I don’t have personal experience with psoriasis, but I’ve seen reflexology help some people manage stress, which can be a trigger for flare-ups. While it’s not a cure, many find it relaxing and supportive alongside medical care. Everyone responds differently, so trying a few sessions and noting changes can be useful. It’s great you’re offering free sessions locally, hands-on case studies are invaluable when learning reflexology and understanding how individual bodies respond.
