Cancer & Psoriasis

I have suffered with psoriasis for approx 20 years, which I manage with various shampoos & lotions. My psoriasis was mainly on my scalp, stomach, buttocks & elbows & nails (feet & hands) it was something I just lived with. However a month ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer & am waiting for treatment but gradually within the last month my psoriasis has totally cleared up only leaving slightly pink skin no plaques or scaling at all? Obviously I would rather not have cancer but has anyone experienced this & more importantly surely if my body has somehow cured itself couldn't dermatologists investigate why ?
