Prevention of onset?

I’m 36 and not currently suffering from psoriasis. However, my father, who has severe psoriasis, nail psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, has noticed some small things in me that he developed before the first onset of his symptoms (aged 40) - primarily deep Beau’s lines in my nails and patches of very dry skin on my elbows. I’m wondering if there is any research out there into how to prevent or delay onset - and if people have noticed a similarity in the age of onset of psoriasis in family members who also suffer. Thanks
