Why now?

Good question. P can be brought on by a number of of reasons and like us all you have probably researched why. Without any knowledge of your personal circs it could be brought on by stress, trauma, irreditary, sore throat I understand, or maybe change in hormones etc etc. No concellation to you but in one way you have been fortunate only to have it in your fifties, whereas some have it most of their life. Please don't take that the wrong way as I am sure it is a shock at any age to find out you have the disease. The good thing if there is ever any good from P is that developments in medicine have improved in recent years and no doubt you will try different creams, ointments etc until something works for you.
