Happy Christmas all. I was flicking through the TV today and came across a programme called Dr Pimple Popper. She is a skin doctor in the US, anyway there was a patient who visited her, he had about 90% plaque P, he also had PsA. She took one look at him and prescribed biologics to cover both P and PsA. The patient was using what looked like a vazeline/BP jelly type of ointment before biologics, no mention off what else was used previously. Ten weeks later after commencing the treatment the results were amazing. Many long suffering patients especially in the UK know the hurdles it takes to get to the stage of biologic treatment, maybe easier in other parts of the world that have insurance to cover it. Anyone with a passing interest or about to commence biologics it is worth a watch. It may be available on catch up platforms. Of course not all treatments work for all.
