Elocon Scalp Treatment

Hi all, I started Elocon last Sunday for my scalp psoriasis after seeing so many good reviews. My GP told me to use it once a day, but it didn't seem to have an affect so I've been using it twice daily. I am still itching and I almost feel I want to use a cream steroid as well at night but am nervous about this as Elocon is classed as a potent steroid. My question is, if it hasn't worked after five days,bis it worth continuing? Reviews I've seen say it works in three days. I had such great hopes! TIA

Psoriasis is a "funny" old illness and it is often a case of experimenting until one finds what works for them. It can be very "individual". The immune system is hyper-complex.
There are around 200 prescription meds in the UK for psoriasis today, so there are plenty to choose from.
Some say Betnovate Scalp can be useful. GP can advise, etc.
