Working from home but pressure to return to office

Psoriasis 40 years, most treatments tried over this time, currently on biologics (stelara) as nothing else work.

Hi all Is anyone in the same situation as me where you are ECV and immunosuppressed, have WFH since March 2020 but am getting pressured to start returning to work? I was referred to occupational therapy who said I should continue to WFH where possible (there is nothing I need to travel into London to do that I cannot do from home). Government advise now says we should ask relatives to do a home test before they visit but am expected to go to an office full of people who don't test and who are required in even if family members have covid and work close together? It's stressing me out big time! Thanks S

If your employer referred you to Occupational Health and thery recommend you to continue to WFH, who is actually pressuring you to return to the office? Without making a formal complaint, can you not speak to your HR department (or representative) and tell them of your worries and concerns. If your employer referred you to occupational health, then perhaps thay are open to follow such advice.

You would think so. This is all through HR. They want me to start returning one day a week but I don't see why they want to put me at risk. I'd have to get two trains, one to London, one through London then sit in an office of people that are continuing life as normal. I've been really careful, I Shield, I don't 'go out' to eat or socialise and very few people come to my house. My 15 year old is the only one wearing a mask still at school. I've had to travel to London for hospital a few times through the pandemic, and even when masks were required, over 50% were not and its worse now. I drove on Saturday to avoid people. My work place is an office in the City, I work from my desk only (hence why WFH works well for me), and I'm the only person that does my role. It's baffling! Ps I work for a firm that deals with employment law lol.
