Natural way?

Hi. Ive just joined this group. Have read alot of the discussions. Very interesting to see what people have tried and tested. I'm pretty sure I have psoriac arthritis. I have never actually been diagnosed because after getting really ill a few years ago, having to take a month off work, being tested for everything from rheumatoid to lupus, I eventually gave up. The specialist said I should just keep taking anti inflammatories!!! He couldn't say for how long. My gynea actually mentioned psoriac arthritis to me during this period. It all made sense!! I had started seeing an acupuncturist by then. I did a 3 month detox with him and acupuncture once a week for the 3 months. He explained how all diseases are inflammation. If you google - is psoriasis related to gut health there is alot of evidence saying inflammation starts in the gut. Whilst I'm sure pharmaceutical meds can help, it seems by reading alot of the discussions here, it is often temporary or often can make it worse. I am only putting a thought out there, not putting anything or anyone down, but I honestly think there is a much deeper way of looking at this. I am still battling to come to terms with a more restrictive diet and lifestyle. In the long run it's all about health and that's what we all want. So I suppose what I'm saying is.... we need to wrap our heads around the fact: we need to be healthy, get to the source of what's happening inside us and realise our bodies are trying to tell us something. Much love

Some diseases are caused by bacteria or viruses.

I've had psoriasis since 1975, I've tried everything and I mean everything: lotions, creams, gels, tablets, herbal remedies, diets, I could go on. I've always thought that one thing e.g. a cream, a tablet or other medication isn't going to clear up my psoriasis on it's own. I think it's got to be a combination of treatments that will help my skin. I currently watch my diet, I just try to eat healthly and I take 1 antihistamine tablet, 1 vitamin D3 tablet and drink 2 cups of green tea in the morning when I get up from bed. Then I put on Calcipotriol cream (prescribed by my GP). In the evening I have a bath washing in Hydromol cream (also prescriped by my GP) after my bath I rub Elemis moisturising cream (which I buy from Amazon) into my skin. Then I put Calcipotriol on again before going to bed. At the moment this combination is working for me, keep trying until you find a combination of treatments that work for you xx

Hi Chrissy - I think you should make it clear that you have a Facebook page promoting this food supplement and are a share investor - you are coming at it from a different perspective than most of us.

Hi Lizzie, Unlike you, and others on this forum, I don't think that's relevant. But feel free to let everyone know, if you like. I am happy to raise awareness of this food supplement and please to be a shareholder of the company making this excellent product available for anyone who wishes to try it.

it has relevance, as you know, or you wouldn't have chosen to not mention it.. Your point of view is worthwhile, but in the context of an investor.

Chrissy: it is 100% relevant if someone has a financial interest in a product or treatment that they are recommending here. It means that their advice needs to be seen in that context. Incidentally, even your absolute statement that all psoriasis is caused by leaky gut is an unproven hypothesis. The axisbiotic food supplement might well turn out to be beneficial for some, but it is a long way from being proven as a treatment for psoriasis, let alone psoriatic arthritis - even Axisbiotioc's own claims do not stretch that far.

A P sufferer for over 30 years, through good and bad times.

Here we go again, maybe there should be a separate section of the forum for anyone having a vested interest in a product. Call it Non medically approved treatments. I will get my coat😉

It is worth noting that the share price, on the London stock exchange, of the company that makes AxisBiotix (SBTX) has plunged a staggering -50% since the time around the "study" of it was unveiled in 2021.
