Hi all,
Just putting out some info about my battle with psoriasis, some might find this info useful.
I did an IGG blood intolerance test. Some in medicine think these are mumbo jumbo but some natural therapy specialist think they are useful so thought I'd give it a try. Interesting results.
Antibody levels with range from 0 to 100 (0-11 being low antibody level, 12-19 medium, 20-100 high range)
3 big hitters for me - Cows Milk 32 (high), egg yolk 20 (high), yeast 12 (medium)
All others in the low level, millet 10, goats milk 9, gluten 5, mushroom 5, coffee 4, egg white 3
I've changed my diet as best I can. Cutting out milk, cheese etc., I've cut out egg yolks but am eating egg whites, yeast is a tough one, I cut out beer but I'm drinking red wine. I'm now gonna try to quit gluten although it's only level 5.
Was doing quite well, patches went really pale but have flared up last 2 days so I'm starting a food diary especially for any new things I might eat. Recently stopped eating porridge but had some last week and had some goats cheese 2 nights ago now patches are red! Not sure where I'm going with this but some of this might resonate with others.
Please keep me updated interesting.
Thanks steph.
Ps.. alcohol definitely flares my skin if I go over board and I drink lager.
I'm going to try and test out your theory see what happens!
Hi, anything to report? I found my way here because Ím suspecting a connection between eggs and psoriasis. I have just gone low-carb and have probably overdosed on eggs. My skin has flared up big time with crazy flaking and I cn´t think of any other changes I have made. Ok, it´s winter too. My problem is mostly around my left eye and scalp and now nails.

Interesting. I did the same test and got -
High - Egg white 31
Egg yolk 21
Cows Milk 19
Yeast. 17
Wheat. 10
I’ve cut out dairy and eggs for a few months now - with the odd slip up - and one things it’s really helped is my bloating and acid reflux. My skin is improving, slowly, but it is clearing in certain area. Like you, wheat and yeast are next on my list.
Please respond if you read this op. Would be interested to hear how you’re getting on.
