Advice for managing flare ups in first few weeks of biologics treatment?

Hi all. Any advice please for managing a flare up 4-5 weeks into new Adalimumab/biologics treatment? My son went through the usual topicals and methotrexate options with limited success before being started on biologics. Things seemed to be settling but in week 4 his skin started to flare up and it has continued to get worse into week 5. I know that he ulimately needs to persevere until the meds have had a chance to work, but any tips on managing the symptoms (redness, soreness, inflammation) in the meantime please?
