Hi there
I’ve just completed 30 UVB sessions for guttate and inverse psoriasis. My skin is much better overall, but some purple/grey ‘scars’ remain-mostly on my legs. Is it worth having more UVB sessions, or will these marks fade with time?

Hi, I'm so glad to hear that your skin is doing much better overall! I also suffer from psoriasis, so I completely understand the struggle. Regarding the marks, from what I've read, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (those flat grey/purple marks) usually fades on its own over time once the active psoriasis is clear, but it can take a while.
I actually have a question for you, if you don't mind sharing! I was recently recommended UVB light therapy as well, and I'd love to know a bit more about your experience with it.
I've been looking into home treatment options and found this device online: https://www.vitiligoshop.co.uk/p/267/bu-1s-311nm-uvb-lamp
Since you've just completed 30 sessions, what do you think about going with a home device like this? Do you think it's worth it?
Thanks in advance, and I hope those marks fade quickly for you!
