'Specialist' said I didn't have Psoriasis as my skin was clear!

Hi everyone, I recently saw a specialist (nhs I'm in the uk) for a nerve conduction test, as I have ulnar nerve neuropathy. Before he did the test he asked me my medical history, and I mentioned I have psoriasis, although I've been in remission for years (since I had my son). He asked to see my arms and legs, and seemed pretty dismissive (not sure what psoriasis has to do with my ulnar nerve). I thought no more of it, til I received a letter that is also sent on to my gp, where in black and white he stated " does not have psoriasis, no skin lesions present !" I was stunned! I've had psoriasis since I was born, I'm now 50. Apparently as a baby I had a few patches, this then spread to knees, elbows and scalp by the age of 3. From there I had plaques all over my arms, legs, scalp and some smaller ones on other parts of my body. I knew I was in remission, but I found myself 2nd guessing myself and made an appointment to see my doctor. When she checked my notes she was furious and said he clearly didn't understand psoriasis and just because I was in remission skin wise, it didn't mean I was miraculously cured!! Has anyone else in remission been accused of making it up? Or am I just unlucky?
