weight gain with methotrexate

I'm not on Methotrexate at the moment. But when I took it for several years I did have a problem with weight gain. Some Doctors will acknowledge it causes weight gain and others will say not. The only thing that helped me was to be a bit more mindful about what I was eating and drinking. Andy

have had p for too many years
Hi I have been on Methotrexate for 2 years and I haven't had any changes in my weight. Hope it works for you. I am up to 17.5 mg and I am 99% clear.

Hi, I am waiting to see consultant about starting Methotrexate, my husband couldn't tolerate it, he was prescribed it for a different reason, has anyone had any problems with being on it?
