Psoriasis arthritis

I have had psoriasis for nearly 11 years, it not only the flaky itchy skin to deal with, its now in my hands the arthritis, little in knees. Elbow , it gets me down. I keep my arms covered in summer due to my psoriasis, I use cream from the Dr it helps but I also have scalp psoriasis I use shampoo for witch can be very itchy. But I stress it will go to my face I know there is cream out there but my Dr says it not go on the face, but I looked on google and lots people do suffer with psoriasis on face. the least little spot or itch on my face I stress ?

I have had psoriais for 30+ years. Psoriatic arthritis developed in 2003.
I've had psoriasis a long time and did eventually move onto my face. I got told off by my GP for using the same cream that I use elsewhere. The doctor prescribed a less powerful cream for my face. It still worked though.
