Hi, I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and dermatitis at aged 14, 10 years on I have now realised I’ve got dents in my fingernails. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, was you able to make your fingernails go back to normal? Thank-you. Xxx

Hi. I'm Paul and I have had guttate & plaque psoriasis from the age of 4 and recently PSA which first started in my teens but was missed.

Hi. Dents and pits in fingernails are normal with PSA and are one of the tell tale symptoms of the condition. I am not aware of any treatment to stop it happening but there may well be? Are you under a rheumatologist or dermatologist for the PSA & recieving treatment as you might be best to ask them for advice? Good luck and wishing you well, Paul
