genital psoriasis/sex

Hello I am a 33 yr old female who was diagnosed last yr with genital psoriasis. Very little advice was given about how psoriasis would affect daily life, and i would like to hear about how people manage this condition. Is it affecting your sex life? I find that sex is frequently sore and painful as the skin is dry, and afterwards i often experience flare ups. This is coupled with recurring yeast infections linked to the psoriasis. Some things i have read seem to indicate that genital psoriasis is linked to dryness, but i am unsure how much of an impact it has. Is this just something i need to accept, that sex is no longer straightforward? Or are there ways to cope and even improve the condition? I also cycle a lot, which does not help. Thank you.
