Methotrexate and a cough

Has psoriasis since 2001
Iv been on methotrexate since last year and I have had a bad cold and fought for a week now. I totally forgot that I had to inform my go when I get a cough!!
Today I have been so bad on stop coughing and tight chest. It just says on the leaflet to call gp immediately but as it's weekend and I have had it a week already can it wait till Monday?
Has anyone else experienced a cough and what happens?

A bit late to answer I know, but if the leaflet says to contact your GP immediately, I would have gone to A&E at the weekend..
