Dedication to high-quality research
We’re proud to have passed the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) Expert Review Audit.
This achievement demonstrates our commitment to robust and rigorous research funding processes and our dedication to supporting the highest-quality research.
The AMRC Expert Review Audit takes place every five years and is a key part of AMRC membership, showing that we have met the highest standards of research funding practice.
Nicola Perrin, Chief Executive of AMRC, said: "AMRC membership is recognised as a kitemark of quality, and this audit is central to maintaining that reputation. We are grateful to the Expert Review Committee for leading such a thorough and rigorous assessment of our members.
"I congratulate our members on successfully completing the audit. Their commitment to robust, fair and transparent research funding gives researchers, donors, partners and the public confidence that AMRC charities are investing in the highest-quality research to improve health and save lives."
Our participation helps to ensure that, together, each AMRC member charity continues to uphold robust and rigorous funding processes, strengthening confidence in the medical research charity sector among researchers, funders, partners and the public.

Promoting and funding psoriasis research
One of our main objectives has always been 'to promote and fund research into the causes, nature and care of psoriasis and to publish and disseminate the results of that research'.
Since we were founded in 1968, we have awarded millions of pounds in research grants and PhD Studentships, thanks to the fundraising efforts of individual members, branches, legacies and private donations.
You can also learn more about the research we are working on collaboratively with others and, if you have psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis yourself, you may also wish to take a look at the studies you can get involved in too.
