Oral Steroids

This is my first visit to this site and was surprised to learn that oral steroids are not used as a treatment for psoriasis. I have had the condition for about 9 months now, never had it before, I'm 62. So far it has been treated with topical steroids to no avail. It is worse on my scalp where nothing but Aloe will sooth it but behind and in my ears will respond to topical steroids.
