Why can't photos be attached to posts?

Hi all,
I recently had to re-register on here after previously being a member but having not been on here in a while it didn't seem to recognise my email address so have registered again.
When I used to come on here I always found it difficult to explain my psoriasis without being able to show examples in photos. I thought by now there would be an option of uploading attachments but still see this is not the case. Is there any part of the forum where photos can be uploaded?

Hi there daveym79,
Thank you for your feedback. There is currently not a facility for users to upload photos to the forums other than as a profile picture. We will take your comments into account and see if this is something we might be able to offer when we do our next website update.
