hi, im newly diagnosed with PsA and also have fibromyalgia, previous diagnosis. i was given kenalog injection at the clinic to tide me over till sulfa starts working. Im just wondering peoples experience of effects from the jab as its been a week now and i thought id be doing cartwheels down the street!. Definite reduction in symptoms but not as much as i thought it would. i suppose you just want to know whats normal and how other people have responded to it. thanks

Hi Nic. I think your day's of doing cartwheels is over ;). Mileage varies with that injection, as in in it can last days to months, longest I've got out of it was two months, I know other's that get upto three or four months relief out it. Times it works better than others, so I never refuse it and if it works it's a bonus. On a side note it could be a delayed reaction, and those cartwheels could still be a possibility :).
