Anyone know why doctors seem so reluctant to prescribe this medication ?

A P sufferer for over 30 years, through good and bad times.

It was in short supply a while ago and withdrawn but I understand is available again Unless there is a specific reason your GP won't prescribe you. I believe you can purchase rather than prescription. Ask your chemist they may be able to help. answer.

For a while in 2018 it was not available via the NHS list, the blanket agreement with the manufacturer had expired. It works excellently for me for my specific issues, so my doctor still agreed to prescribe it when i needed more. But the chemist had to specially order it and at that time it cost the practice a lot more than it would have normally. You should ask your GP why he will not prescribe it. It cannot be bought in the UK without a prescription, unless that has changed very recently. https://www.psoriasis-association.org.uk/forums/topic.aspx?ID=2212 https://www.psoriasis-association.org.uk/news/trimovate-cream-availability-update
