World Skin Health Day 2025

Today is World Skin Health Day! Taking place each year on 8th July, the celebration is a global initiative by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and the International Society of Dermatology (ISD).

The purpose of the campaign is to educate people about the significance of skin health and encourage discussion and actions that work towards improving skin health.

World Skin Health Day is important globally because it:

  • Promotes education around disparities in skin health access
  • Advocates for equality around skin health access
  • Encourages people to get involved and provide skin health access to those in need
  • Fosters a sense of community and promotes visibility for underserved communities
  • Highlights the importance of skin health access to mental, physical, and emotional health

World Skin Health Day 2025

This years theme is for World Skin Day 2025 is 'No Health Without Skin Health', highlighting the global effort to ensure that everyone, everywhere, can benefit from greater awareness, education, and equal access to dermatological care.

Today we’re supporting #WorldSkinHealthDay (because although psoriasis is more than skin deep, we recognise that living with a condition that affects the skin isn’t easy.

Raising awareness is one of our key aims here at the Psoriasis Association and we’re always here to offer support and remind people who are living with psoriasis that they are never alone.
