Ive been on sulfasalzine for 2 months now and have constantly felt rough on and off and again. Now developed a sore throat which is really painful and even drinking is hard. The clinic kept mentioning if you get a sore throat to get in touch with them. Does this mean its not suitable? or do I just persevere? i hate this medication already.

I think it means you should do as they said, and tell them you have a sore throat.
