Primrose oil

Has anybody tried primrose oil for their psoriasis?
Upon reading studies in human trials, its really useful for skin conditions like psoriasis, dry skin and eczema due to its GLA content?
There's been clinical trials where human studies used 1000mg a day for 12 weeks and it cleared their eczema and made a real difference in people with psoriasis too?
For a months supply for a tenner I'm considering giving it ago as I suffer with dry skin and get the odd flare of GP, just seeing if anybody else has used it with success?
