Tildrakizumab

Posted Fri 21 Jan 2022 20.07 by Nickifturner

Hi I have suffered with psorasis for 32 years now and have had various medications over the years. Most recent was methertrexate which I became immune to it so it stopped working. I saw the doctor today and she has offered me the Tildrakizumab injection. I can not find any information on anyone having taken this drug. Does anyone know anything about this. Thank you.

A P sufferer for over 30 years, through good and bad times.

Hi Nick, I don't think this is one of the more common biologics available. A little research found it has only been on the market a few years. I would have a read of this see what you think. Maybe query with your dermatologist why they are recommending this over the more commonly known biologic meds. The doc may have a good reason to suggest this. Good luck. https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/TA575/chapter/1-Recommendations
