Be Dirty!!

I am 74 years pf age and have had psoriasis on my back and buttocks for almost 40 years and despite trying every cream/ ointment on the market, nothing has worked. Two weeks ago I had an operation on ,y knee and was told not to get the dressing wet. So having showered at least once a day all of my life, I stopped showering for 8 days. My Psoriasis disappeared. Yes my skin was smooth as can be. I had the stitches out and had a shower and within two days my psoriasis was starting to come back!! I live in an area of very hard water. From now it will be a strip wash using a damp flannel . I hope I don't smell but I won't have psoriasis.
