i have had psoriasis all over my body for 16 years. It is on my scalp and my body.

Hi. I have had psoriasis for 16 years. I used to suffer from psoriasis in the ears and had to have my ears syringed all the time because I could not hear out of them. All you have to do is ask your doctor for ''Optimize Ear Spray'. Problem solved. You just spray it in your ears. You don't need cotton buds. Pretty soon, you won't have to use it often.

Had it all my life.

I have p in my ears right now tho I didn't until recently. Keep outer ear well moisturized, that's vital with all psoriasis. I use Eucerin which was recommended by my doctor in the Dead Sea in Israel as an excellent moisturizer. I also use Ahava body lotion, when I can afford it. But for the ears, ask your pharacist for "Sweet Oil" with an eye dropper, it's a special olive oil used to soften and clear out wax from ears. It's really helpful with psoriasis lesions too, it's amazing stuff. Try not to be rough on the skin as any celllar damage you do to the skin will cause the p to worsen. Look up "Koebner phenomenon".

40years

Whatever you do, DO NOT use the ear drops with bicarb of soda in (as recommended to me by a chemist!). It just makes the psoriasis/wax expand and block the ear canal. It turned me completely deaf for a week. Such a relief when they were syringed. Stick with olive oil, which just softens the stuff.

PLEASE READ SCALP: I had an itching in my scalp on one side for years that would get a little better and then come back with a vengeance. In my research I found that it could be an overgrowth of yeast in my system and that a good probiotic might help. It did! It has completely disappeared since taking them. It has to be a high quality formula. Many cheap probiotics do nothing. I take Dr. ohira's original formula in the green box which is $60 for 30 capsules but You can get it on amazon for around $30 for 30. Also reducing the yeast intake in your diet could help some. EAR: I also get a bit of what I call plaque on the inside of my left ear fold. For that I drink a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in the morning prior to coffe or anything else. It tastes nasty and it burns unless you dilute it in a little water. This helps to restore the Ph balance in the system. I kept reading about it as a topical solution but that didn't work so I decided to ingest and it cleared right up within days. It comes back if I go for a while without using it. It really worked for me! Good luck! And let me know if you have success.

My son had eczema around his ears and behinds his knees. I've been using foderma serum at night in hopes to stop the itching and let him sleep. I've been using it for three days now and it has helped tremendously. The Inflammation and itching has decreased . I would recommend foderma to anyone suffering from eczema.

I use coconut oil in both the inner and outer ear. When the flakes have cleared, I use Dovonex on the outer part and that works a treat for me.
