Hello :) I've been offered Skilarence (Dimethyl Fumerate) by my hospital dermatologist. I've previously been on Methotrexate, which worked well for my skin, but gave me various side effects that weren't doing me any good. Please can anyone tell me of their experiences with Skilarence, be it good, bad or anything in between.

hi. - i've been on Skilirence for 20/25 years and my only fear is that someone will take me off it! I was originally on it when it was called Fumaderm. It works for me, which is all I can say. The side effects are no problem to me. It was 100% effective but I took myself off it over COVID and since going back on it, I do have small amounts of plaques, but not enough to concern me in any way. Side effects can be upset stomachs and hot flushes - neither of these affect me. 25 years ago I thought it was a miracle as it was the first thing I had been offered that worked. So I would say - give it a go!
