Unavailable Treatments - Cocois Ointment

In December 2025, we received an update from RPH Pharmaceuticals regarding Cocois Ointment 40g and 100g tubes.

We have now been informed that the 40gtubes are due to be back in stock mid January 2026 and 100g tubes should be available early February 2026.

Interim Advice

During this period, you may wish to contact your GP to discuss alternative treatment options.

As well as this, The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has asked the manufacturer of equivalent product - Sebco™ - to provide increased stock levels to support patients during this time.

Equivalent in formulation, Sebco™ is stocked nationwide and available in both 100g and 40g.

The DHSC reports: “We have issued a note on our online Medicine Supply Tool accessible to colleagues in the NHS, advising of the shortage and for prescribers to prescribe Sebco ointment where needed.”
