Hi I'm new to the group and would be grateful for any advice. Apologies in advance if this is a bit long. So as a teenager, around 12/13. I was diagnosed with gutate psoriosis. It was persistent and as you can probably imagine, painful, itchy, and I was very limited with certain things, as this covered most of my body. Later in life I had children and the psoriosis disappeared for these short periods but always returned quite quickly after birth. At times I was in the hospital receiving lengthy treatments that really didnt help long term. 9 years ago, i stopped drinking alcohol and low and behold, my psoriosis has been dormant since. Too coincidental to ignore tbh..... any way........ my fatigue and body pain have been consistent and never left. My rheumatologist diagnosed fibromyalga. My nails have been brittle and one thumb nail had split. Some days the fatigue is completely debilitating and I've been looking for solutions for this. Am i Imagining this, or could my psoriosis still be active while my skin remains dormant? I get stabbing pains in my foot that have no swelling. Ive been to a physio that can't see anything? I feel I little defeated 😕. When my skin was really bad, at least the dermatologist could see it. Now it just feels like I'm complaining about something invisible. Has anyone else experienced this. Would a change of diet help? Ive been reading about gluten free etc. I would appreciate any feedback or advice. Thank you 😊
