Balneum Plus Cream - 500g stock availability

We have been notified that some members are experiencing difficulties in getting a prescription for 500g tubs of Balneum Plus Cream.

Almirall, the suppliers of Balneum Plus, have confirmed that while there may be some supply challenges with obtaining the 500g tubs, there is no stock issue with the 100g tubs. We recommend asking your GP to prescribe 100g tubs until the issue is resolved, or to try an alternative pharmacy that may still have the larger tubs in stock.

Almirall expect the 500g tubs to return to full stock by mid-February 2026.
