I’m in my 60s, and was first diagnosed with psoriasis pre-school, so cannot remember a time I didn’t have it (except during my first pregnancy, when I had a six month remission -sadly this was not repeated with second pregnancy !). The best treatment for me was Enstillar foam (which I was prescribed while living in the Netherlands). I tried on return to UK to continue with this, but was told then that it wasn’t available on NHS. I see from this forum that perhaps this situation has changed?
About three years ago, I also developed quite severe rosacea acne, and after a lack of success with topical creams my GP suggested I try Lymecycline pills, which I was very worried about as I read this could cause my psoriasis to flare up. However, the opposite gradually occurred, and, a year later, as well as fixing the acne, my psoriasis is in remission . Has anyone else taken Lymecycline and had an improvement?
