I hope you have had some improvement or come to deal with this?

Hi, I had creams, potions, steroid creams for years before I was referred for uvb treatment at hospital, it was 10 seconds to start with, 3 times a week, and gradually built up time, it did clear my psoriasis, I had 90% of my body covered. Spent a fortune on shampoos, creams etc and got very depressed, people do not realise what an awful thing this is to have to deal with. Keep pestering your GP, again and again for the uvb treatment, I ended up sobbing in the doctors, and begging them to do something. Sorry I can’t be of any more help to you and take care, I do understand what it is like.

Hi i have just joined the forum. up until August 2025 i was free of any issues with my skin, In September 2025, i got a scaly part appear on my head and then a mark appeared on my groin, i went to GP and was given creams and gels but it was being treated for so much different things and nothing cleared it up, i started to get more and more sores appear all over my body and flakyness inside my ear lobes and very itchy, the sores got worse and multiplied weekly, i went back to GP in June 2026 and eventually was told i had Psoriasis and was given 2 different ointments, a steriod one Dovebet and non steriod one Dovenex, i have been taking these between the 2 for about 8 weeks but are not clearing the Psoriasis up, i did some research and have found out that the Blood pressure tablets my GP changed me too on July 2025 could in fact have caused my Psoriasis, i am waiting to speak to my GP and also waiting for a blood test to see if my Blood Calcium levels are too high a side effect of over using these ointments for Psoriasis, sorry for long story but just wondered if anyone else is on Canersartan BP meds and has now got Psoriasis, thanks in advance of any help.
