Find out how our work has made a difference to the lives of people affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis over the last decade.
What a difference a decade makes! The Psoriasis Association
is proud to have recently published our first ever 10 year impact report. Spanning
from 2010 to 2020, the report explores how our work has made a difference to
the lives of people affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis over the last decade.
Did you know that our main website has had over 10 million
page views in the last 10 years? Or that we have funded 21 PhD Studentships in
the last decade and consulted on the assessment of every biologic to treat
psoriasis since they began in 2004? The report explores these achievements and
more. Split into the Psoriasis Association’s three aims, the report discusses
the work that we do and the services we provide to help address them and then, most
importantly, the real life impact that our work has for people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
The impact of our work takes many forms, from empowering
people to make decisions regarding their psoriasis, to helping to shape NHS
guidelines that affect patient care, or funding research that drives a change
such as making personalised medicine a reality. But you don’t have to just take
our word for it – the report is filled with quotes from our supporters and from
researchers we’ve funded describing, in their own words, the difference that
our work has made.
