Show your local pride – enter The Amazing Northampton Run for the Psoriasis Association!
As a charity with proud Northampton heritage, we are delighted to be involved with this years’ Amazing Northampton Run, taking place on Sunday, 13 September 2026.
Today marks exactly six months until the big day, which features a three-mile fun run, a half marathon and a half marathon relay – and what better way to show your local pride than to run for a Northampton-based charity?
What makes the Psoriasis Association a local charity?
We were founded in 1968 by Dr. Dick Coles, a Consultant Dermatologist at Northampton General Hospital, who’s initial psoriasis support group was set up in Northampton and quickly expanded to cover the entire United Kingdom.
How can I sign up?
You can sign up to run for a charity, or as an individual. Prices for charity entrants are as follows:
- Three-mile fun run charity entry - £5 + commitment to a minimum of £70 fundraising for charity)
- Half marathon charity entry - £10 + commitment to a minimum of £150 fundraising for charity)
- Half marathon relay charity entry - £15 + commitment to a minimum of £240 fundraising for charity)
To register, visit The Amazing Northampton Run website and click the green ‘enter now’ button. You will then be presented with the charity entry options (shown in the first photo).
Next, simply complete the buyer information and runner information that appears on the next screen, Then, when asked to indicate the charity for which you intend to raise funds, scroll down and tick The Psoriasis Association (as shown in the second photo).
You will then be asked to proceed to payment.
We’ll be in attendance on the day wearing our purple vests and t-shirts with pride – so be sure to come and say hi!
Not coming to The Amazing Northampton Run, but still want to get involved with some fundraising?
We’ll be at the London 10k on Sunday 12th July 2026! If you'd like to run for the Psoriasis Association, booking is now open - please email us at mail@psoriasis-association.org.uk.
Or, if running is really not for you, take a look at some of our other fundraising ideas. We are reliant on donations to be able to continue with our work so, as you can imagine, the efforts of those who agree to raise funds on our behalf is very much appreciated.
