All-Wales Medicines Strategy Group (AWMSG) patient meeting – Thursday 18 June
The AWMSG hosts a number of Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) meetings as part of their medicines appraisal process – register to attend the next one and have your say!
Details of the next free to attend meeting are as follows:
- When - Thursday 18 June 2026, 09.30am to 11am
- Where – Virtually, via Teams (register online to be sent the link)
What will be discussed?
- How Research Ethics Committees protect participants in medical trials
- Plans to help optometrists in Wales to prescribe medicines for treating urgent eye problems
- Use of Blueteq software to speed up access to specialised treatments in Wales.
AWMSG will share some information with you before the meeting so you can give your feedback.
When are the next PAPIG meetings?
Provisional dates for further PAPIG meetings in 2026 are:
- Thursday 10 September (online)
- Friday 4 December (online)
