Psoriasis Awareness Week – Final Day

Today is the final day of Psoriasis Awareness Week and it’s a busy one – with our focus throughout the day being on Research.

One of our main objectives as a charity, has always been 'to promote and fund research into the causes, nature and care of psoriasis and to publish and disseminate the results of that research'

For nearly 60 years, we have awarded millions of pounds in research grants and PhD Studentships thanks to the fundraising efforts of individual members, branches, legacies and private donations.

Throughout the day today we will be sharing a number of resources including a video interview with Professor Pourzand from the University of Bath discussing her Hepcidin Research. You can also find further details about our grant call which is currently open as well hearing about themySkin study and the new St John's Derm Academy website.

You will also have the opportunity to meet some of our newest funded PhD students from our 2024 Grant Call.
