Cocois Ointment expected to return to market

We have remained in regular contact with with RPH Pharmaceuticals regarding return to market delays for Cocois Ointment (40g and 100g tubes), and have now been advised that the return to market will be early/mid February.

As a reminder, we were notified in March 2025 by manufacturer Derma UK that they had been asked by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to increase stock levels of Sebco to support patients during shortages of coal tar scalp ointment, including Cocois.

Equivalent in formulation, Sebco™ is stocked nationwide and available in both 100g and 40g.

Exorex Lotion – NI availability now resolved

Teva UK, the manufacturer of Exorex Lotion (5% v/w Coal Tar Solution) has confirmed to us that the treatment is now available again as normal in Northern Ireland. This follows a short period of availability issues, which we were alerted to by members located in Northern Ireland in July 2025.
