I developed Guttate Psoriasis after having strep throat, has anyone got any experience of this and what did they find helped.
I stopped the steroid spray as this seemed to make it worse. I’ve been moisturising with a fragrance free child’s brand, along with my own concoction of black seed oil, rosehip oil and castor oil.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted and appreciated

I have a combination of 2 psoriasis. One of them is guttate. Had it for 6 years. Nothing worked. Some days are ok mostly its uncomfortable. I used the spray, it does stop the rawness but nothing else. I had tried everything but any tiny cut or graze and my body just flares up. I've been on acetretin which made it stable but it was only ever supposed to be temporary as its not goid for the kidneys. I got to 3 years before I gave In and took advise to try cosentyx. I had my first jab (I find it difficult to inject myself) last week. I have noticed the difference already. My arms have never cleared and my psoriasis hates the sun. Today I see actual normal clear skin. The back of my thighs were the worst and i only just realised i can sit for more than 20 minutes without the burning sensation. Im having my 2nd jab tomorrow which I am learning to do the injections myself (i put my big girls pants on) but if it really does work, for 1 injection a month after the first 4, I can put up with that x
Sadly, there are downsides. I also have psoriatica and my aches are doubled. I find I feel like im walking through thick mud up to my waist right now. Im told that should pass and it will eventually improve and my immune system is compromised. For me thats an issue as I work in a very germ filled environment. Again, I think its worth the sacrifice. Its different for everyone. I hope you find something soon. There are so many factors of having psoriasis that no one who has never had it can ever understand. My family called me a snowflake when it first began thinking it was funny. However, they didnt understand it at the time how much that upset me. Obviously, they do now as they educated themselves and realised it could very well pass down to them.
