Fundraising with support from ‘the kindness of strangers’

Follow the journey of one of our fundraisers as he hitchhikes across the USA!

Earlier this week, Scottish musician Logan started his journey from San Francisco and aims to reach Boston by Sunday 14 June - the day of Scotland’s first match in the FIFA World Cup.

The main challenge is to spend no money on transport and rely on 'the kindness of strangers.’

Logan will be posting updates on Instagram (@logan_gilmartin). We will also be resharing some of his posts on our account.

Follow along and see if he makes it to Boston in time...

Logan's 'why'

Logan's aim is to empower others with psoriasis, while raising awareness.

He spoke on his Instagram of his goal - to show people with psoriasis that they can 'still do anything they want to do with their lives'.

Logan has psoriasis himself and says he ‘knows what it’s like to wake up and feel embarrassed and down.’ He hopes his challenge will inspire people to feel comfortable in their own skin.

You can donate online to Logan’s JustGiving page.

Good luck Logan!
